ANOTHER round of acts have been announced for the new Edinburgh city music festival The Big Discovery 23 April 23, a multi-venue event set to feature a host of promising young Scottish bands, CommonSpace can reveal.
We Came From Wolves, who won Best Rock Act at last year's Scottish Alternative Music Awards, are set to headline Sneaky Pete's, joining already announced headliners The Rising Souls and indie rockers Jakil.

App concept beats 46 other competitors to take it on to competition in Texas
A team of Strathclyde University students will soon head to Texas to take part in a competition after bagging a university prize with the creation of an app aiming to combat loneliness in older people.
The second year entrepreneurship undergraduates were challenged to develop an app that could help to solve a prevalent social issue. They then pitched their idea - an app named 'BeFriend' - to academics from the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde.

Over 42,000 people attended the Glasgow Film Festival
THE 11th GLASGOW FILM FESTIVAL has closed after its most well attended gala of international and local film ever.
The festival, which has run every year since 2005 and is based at the Glasgow Film Theatre in the city centre, saw 42,000 admissions between 17-28 February. The Film Theatre saw its largest recorded foot-fall in a week from Friday 19 to Thursday 25 February.
