Equality Network report finds widespread discrimination against LGBT+ community in Scotland
Report recommends changes to school education in bid to stem discrimination
A REPORT from the Equality Network has uncovered widespread discrimination against members of the LGBT+ community in Scotland.
The survey of 1,052 LGBT+ Scots found that almost half had experienced prejudice or discrimination in the month prior to the report, that figure rising to 79 per cent for the year prior to the report.
A change in school level education on same sex relationships was recommended in the report as a key method in tackling discrimination.
