Public support for stronger measures to disclose secret meetings found in poll
CIVIL society groups campaigning for greater transparency will put their demands to the minister for parliamentary business Joe Fitzpatrick today [Wednesday 6 January], after a poll showed high public support for stronger measures to restrict lobbying.
The Scottish Alliance for Lobbying Transparency (SALT) is calling for key amendments to the Lobbying Bill which is currently going through the Scottish Parliament and is set to be debated tomorrow [Thursday 7 January].
